Contract Position : 1099, 3-4 months to start with possible extension to 1 year.
Our client in downtown Chicago is currently looking for a Data Mining Specialist to assist in the extraction of data and development of executive systems reports from a large data warehouse system used in brokerage/investments applications. The successful candidate will have experience in brokerage or investments as well as mining a data warehouse, reporting, and software QA processes.. This candidate will also have 10+ years of very technical experience in the design, development, testing of, and data extraction from data warehouses, as well as experience in data modeling and data analysis. Experience in reporting packages such as Cognos, Business Objects, Holos, or Actuate would be highly desirable. Must have experience in connecting interfaces to data warehouses.
All candidates must be local or willing to be available for face to face interviews in Chicago and willing to relocate all at their own expense.
